i think it's interesting it was so unanimous at the time that nearly every non doremi/onpu yuri involving onpu was running on a baseline assumption that the only one onpu actually has eyes for is doremi and whatever is going on int he doujin is some outlier situation with no real emotion behind it. it's a cute pair but it's a bit sad that the maximum level of love you will see in most onpu/momo doujinshi is momo being given thirdwheel pet status.
